Cougars volleyball wins two

Columbia College volleyball recorded two more wins in the  Madonna University Invitational on Saturday in Livonia, Mich.

The Cougars defeated University of Michigan-Dearborn 25-17, 25-13, 25-14, and Ashford (Iowa) University 25-19, 25-17, 25-10.

The wins move the No.6 Cougars to 28-2 on the season. They finished the two-day invitational 4-0. 

Vesna Trivunovic led the Cougars with 17 kills and Paula Ferreira added 41 assists. Ferreria was named Most Valuable Player, and Trivunovic was named the all-tournament team.
