COLUMBIA — The goal post from the north end zone of Faurot Field made quite the journey after Missouri's win against Oklahoma on Saturday night.

A swarm of fans carried the crossbar, which was still attached to the base of goalpost, up the hill, out Gate 2E of Memorial Stadium, across Stadium Drive, north down Tiger Avenue, east on Conley Avenue, north on Ninth Street, down an alley behind Chipotle to Tenth Street.

The destination for the fans and the goal post was Harpo's Bar and Grill. At 11:45 p.m., they arrived at the corner of Tenth and Cherry streets.

The goal post made a 1.25 mile journey.
