Missouri women's golf in 7th place at Las Vegas Showdown

COLUMBIA — The Missouri women’s golf team is in seventh place Monday after the first round of the Las Vegas Showdown at Boulder Creek Golf Club.

The Tigers shot a round of 298, which ties them with Colorado State, just two shots out of the top-five.

Freshman Kate Gallagher led Missouri with a 71, making six birdies. She is in a tie for eighth place.

The second round of the Las Vegas Showdown will take place Tuesday.
