Missouri men's golf within striking distance in Memphis Intercollegiate

COLUMBIA — The Missouri men’s golf team is in fifth place Monday after two rounds of play at the Memphis Intercollegiate.

The Tigers opened with a score of 296 and followed with a score of 299 in Round 2. The Tigers are nine strokes behind leader Akron.

Missouri sophomore Jace Long is tied for eighth place after turning in a total of 145 for two rounds.

The final round will be played Tuesday.
