The Columbia Fire Department was called to Unit 90 of the park by a next-door neighbor who spotted flames.

Columbia Fire Department Battalion Chief Steven Sapp said the neighbor reported that there had been children at the unit earlier in the day. The neighbor said he was worried someone might have been trapped inside.

When responders arrived, the fire was contained to the trailer home's deck and no one was inside the unit. Sapp said the owner was at a different lot at the time.

The Fire Department was still investigating the cause of the fire as of Wednesday afternoon.
