MU swimmer receives conference award.

Missouri's Michael Lopresti was named Big 12 Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for his performance against Southern Illinois and Kentucky on Oct. 16. in Carbondale, Ill.

He won the 100 breaststroke in 58.06 and won the 200 breaststroke in 2:07.34. This is the first time Lopristi, a junior, has won the award.

The Missouri men's swimming and diving team will compete in the Southwest Plunge Friday and Saturday in Dallas, Texas.
