Missouri women's golf takes eighth in Las Vegas Showdown

The Missouri women's golf team finished its fall season season with an eighth place finish Wednesday at the Las Vegas Showdown at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas.

The Tigers had shot a final round 307 on Wednesday, finishing with a three-day total of 893.

Missouri senior Nicola Race and freshman Kate Gallagher each had three-round totals of 221 to tie for 23rd place.

Arkansas claimed the team title finishing with a three-round total of 846.

The Missouri men's golf team finished in third place after the final round of the Memphis Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The Tigers, who also ended their fall season, finished 14 strokes behind winner South Alabama (878).
