COLUMBIA — Junior Brittney Brimmage and senior Caitlyn Vann of the Missouri volleyball team earned Big 12 weekly honors Monday.

The Tigers, winners of four of their past five games, have claimed eight Big 12 weekly awards this season, which is the most by any team in the conference.

Brimmage was named the Big 12 Player of the Week, and Vann earned her sixth career Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Brimmage led the Tigers offensively in wins against Kansas and Kansas State, totaling 20 kills, and Vann tallied 50 digs in just six sets.

The Tigers will take on Colorado on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Boulder, Colo.
