Missouri volleyball team topples No. 12 Iowa State

The Missouri volleyball team toppled No. 12 Iowa State 19-25, 26-24, 25-22, 26-24 on Saturday in Ames, Iowa.

Senior outside hitter Paola Ampudia led the Tigers with 22 kills and a .254 hitting percentage. Senior outside hitter Juliann Klein added 16 kills.

Senior libero Caitlyn Vann notched 24 digs while freshman setter Molly Kreklow dished out 47 assists.

The Tigers handed the Cyclones their first loss in newly-renovated Hilton Coliseum, which was flooded in early August.

The win puts Missouri at 17-8 overall and 9-6 in the Big 12 Conference.
