COLUMBIA — A collection date for Everyone Eats!, a Thanksgiving charity that fed thousands of Columbia residents last year, has changed from Saturday to Wednesday.

The collection will be at Moser’s Discount Foods on Business Loop 70 West starting at 6:30 a.m., said event organizer Almeta Crayton.

Crayton is seeking both cash and food donations, with all proceeds going to the Thanksgiving dinner and food baskets. She said the collection will last all day and that the event would be a good opportunity for other organizations to contribute.
