COLUMBIA — A home that is now unoccupied because of the owner's death earlier this month has been the site of several burglaries.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department has responded to the home of Ronald Kinsel in the 7700 block of West Wehmeyer Road four times since Nov. 11, according to a news release from the department.

A computer, tools, stereo equipment, money, jewelry and other items are missing.

Kinsel was killed in a car accident on Nov. 9. He was driving along Sugar Creek Road when his vehicle ran off of the left side of the road and hit a tree. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident, the release stated.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible. Anyone with information can contact CrimeStoppers at 875-8477.
