ST. LOUIS — Three students from a suburban St. Louis high school were sent to the hospital for evaluation after a school bus accident in the city.

The wreck happened Monday morning when a truck struck the side of a bus carrying students from Parkway West High School. The students did not appear to be seriously hurt but were taken to a hospital as a precaution. The driver of the truck and the school bus driver were not hurt.

There was another school bus incident earlier as well, on west-bound Natural Bridge Rd. A black coupe nearly decapitated by the back of the school bus, which appeared to be stopped at the intersection. The bus was likely empty, heading away from the school but I didn't see it happen.
