CARTHAGE— Jasper County authorities say one man apparently walked up to three separate homes in the county, knocked on the doors and demanded money.

Investigators say the three robberies were reported Monday between 7:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. in different parts of the county. The first was at a home near a Carthage elementary school, the second at a home west of Joplin, and the third at another home in Carthage.

Jasper County Sheriff's Capt. Derek Walrod told The Carthage Press that the man either showed a gun or said he had a gun at all three homes. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a young white male, 5-feet-11 inches to 6- feet tall, thin build, wearing a black jacket, black stocking cap and dark blue or black scarf.
