Columbia College volleyball players net more awards

COLUMBIA – Columbia College volleyball player Paula Ferreira was named the NAIA Player of the Year and also made the American Volleyball Coaches Association's All-America first team where she was joined by teammate Vesna Trivunovic.

Ferreira a sophomore, was named the American Midwest Conference Player and Setter of the Year. She was second on the Cougars team in service aces, third in digs and fourth in blocks.

Trivunovic earned AMC Newcomer of the Year honors in her first season with the Cougars. She leads the team in kills and in service aces.
