Missouri rolls past Central Arkansas

COLUMBIA — The Missouri men's basketball team defeated Central Arkansas 116-63 on Saturday evening in its final tuneup before facing No. 12 Illinois on Wednesday.
No. 13 Missouri (10-1) opened the game with a 15-2 run, in which junior guard Marcus Denmon contributed eight points. Denmon finished with 21 to lead the Tigers, and junior forward Laurence Bowers scored 20.
Mike Pouncy's 11 points led Central Arkansas, which was held to 32 percent shooting from the field.
