JEFFERSON CITY— A man has been arrested in the shooting death of a 44-year-old woman at a central Missouri fast-food restaurant.

The Jefferson City News-Tribune reports that Pamela Kellner of Jefferson City was shot Friday night at a McDonald's.

Witnesses said Kellner was speaking with a man at a booth in the McDonald's when they heard a gunshot. They said the woman grabbed her chest and asked for help. No one else was injured.

The man she had been sitting with ran from the restaurant, and later surrendered.

Online court records do not indicate that the suspect had been formally charged Sunday.

Kellner was pronounced dead at a hospital later Friday.
