COLUMBIA — Two men were arrested Monday for drug-related charges after their car was pulled over on Highway 763.

According to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department, deputies stopped a car around 11:45 Monday night for several traffic violations.

Deputies searched the car and found a box of more than 35 grams of marijuana packaged in small quantities, according to the news release. The deputies also found drug paraphernalia associated with marijuana distribution.

The driver, Daniel Greenhoe of Columbia, 19, and the passenger, George Bihomora of St. Louis, 19, were arrested on suspicion of distribution, delivery, manufacture and production of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Each man has a bond of $500 for paraphernalia. A judge will set the distribution charge bond.
