Fourth candidate enters race for Columbia School Board

COLUMBIA — Liz Peterson has joined the race for a spot on the Columbia School Board in April.
Peterson is the fourth candidate to file for one of three seats available.
The election will be held April 5.
The other candidates include Helen Wade, Jonathan Sessions and Dave Raithel, all of whom filed on the first day of the filing period in December.
Members of the Board of Education will serve a three-year term, according to the Columbia Public Schools website.
The filing will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday. Candidates must file in person at the office of the Board of Education Secretary, at 1818 West Worley St.
