Callaway County boy dies after being hit by school bus

WILLIAMSBURG — A 6-year-old central Missouri boy was killed when he was hit by a school bus that had just let him off.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Hunter M. Pitt of Williamsburg died Tuesday afternoon. The patrol says the boy walked into the bus' path just before he was hit.

The accident occurred on a Callaway County road west of Williamsburg.
