COLUMBIA — One to two inches of snowfall are expected in Columbia by late Sunday afternoon.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Boone and adjacent counties from 9 p.m. Saturday until 6 p.m. Sunday.

The storm is forecast to bring snow to Central Missouri late Saturday evening and spread southeast.

The Weather Service warned that slippery roads could make travel dangerous.
