Columbia College women's basketball team stays undefeated in AMC

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College women's basketball team beat Harris-Stowe 95-48 on Saturday at the Arena of Southwell Complex to stay undefeated in American Midwest Conference play at 7-0.

Janita Session's 23 points and seven rebounds led the Cougars (16-5), who led 51-22 at halftime. Ashley Fisher and Amanda Phillips had 13 apiece and Heather English netted 12.

Columbia College, ranked No. 23 in the NAIA, plays next against No. 14 William Woods at 2 p.m. Saturday in Fulton. The Owls are 20-1 on the season and are also 7-0 in AMC play.
