JEFFERSON CITY— Missouri lawmakers are wrapping up their work early this week because of the severe winter storm.
House leaders adjourned Tuesday morning after approving two measures. The full House is not scheduled to meet in a formal session until next week, though a few House committees still planned hearings. The House will hold technical floor sessions Wednesday and Thursday.
Also canceled was an annual speech about the judiciary before a joint legislative session from Missouri Supreme Court Chief Justice William Ray Price.
