Update: All newspaper boxes in the downtown area were filled by about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Dear Missourian Subscribers and Readers:
Sorry about that missing Missourian at your residence and news racks around town early this morning. You obviously know the why.
Here’s what you can expect:
Newspaper racks were being filled downtown this morning. We’ll fill outlying racks as soon as conditions permit.
Delivery to subscribers living in neighborhoods that are drivable will begin late today or overnight.
The Missourian will credit all subscribers for the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday editions, even though all subscribers eventually will get those editions. We just can’t predict which neighborhoods will be accessible what day.
Because we know the Missourian is hard to spot in the snow in the usual clear plastic bags, we temporarily are switching to blue bags.
If you have questions, you can contact the Missourian circulation department at 882-5700. Should you get a busy signal, please leave a message and include your phone number. You also can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
And thanks for all the understanding by those of you who called the Missourian regarding delivery. We knew delivery was problematic overnight when a snowplow outside the Missourian was stuck for a half-hour.
Thanks for your patience. And, of course, check ColumbiaMissourian.com frequently for news and delivery updates.
