COLUMBIA — MU will reopen for classes Friday, according to a news release from the MU News Bureau.

Faculty members may decide to cancel individual classes if they believe holding classes is impossible because of weather conditions. They will alert students about cancellations through e-mail.

Students and employees are urged to use caution when walking on campus because Campus Facilities crews have been unable to completely remove snow and ice, according to the release. City buses are running, including buses that serve extended campus apartment complexes, and students are encouraged to use public transportation.

Plans will be announced soon about makeup classes, missed exams and adjustments to the academic calendar, according to the release.
