PHOTO GALLERY: Students head back to school after snow days

Students step off the commuter bus on Friday morning. Friday was the first day back for University of Missouri students who were given three days off from classes due to the massive storm that hit mid-Missouri on Tuesday, leaving Missouri with more than 17 inches of snow.

School was back in session on Friday after three snow days, during which time MU was closed. Public transportation was also up and running again, providing many students a way to get to the campus.

Students pass through Memorial Union on Friday for their first day back to classes after a three-day break. Due to a storm that left 17 inches of snow, the University of Missouri was forced to remain closed for three days.
