Christine Rose, Tiffany Gilyard and Eric Stern react to Super Bowl commercials at Harpo's in downtown Columbia on Sunday. Although they had differing opinions on which team they wanted to win the game, they all enjoyed the commercial breaks.

Local residents settle in to watch the Super Bowl match up between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Chips, sodas, and crockpots create a super bowl tribute inside of Hy-Vee on west Broadway Sunday afternoon.
Hy-Vee employee Harry Mutz hands a sample of Budweiser beer dip to MU senior Natalie Whitworth Sunday afternoon. Mutz saw crowds of shoppers stocking up on snacks for the super bowl. "I'm not really into football," Whitworth said. "I'm more in it for the snacks."
