Hickman girls basketball team loses at Ozark

The Hickman girls basketball team lost 48-37 at Ozark High School, one of its toughest opponents this year.

The Kewpies (15-7) were led by senior forward Aqua Corpening with 16 points on Saturday.

In the third quarter, Hickman managed to score only four points, and Ozark extended its lead into double digits.

Hickman head coach Tonya Mirts thought her team handled the ball well against Ozark's defense. The Kewpies committed only nine turnovers.

The Kewpies will play at California High School at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
