Rock Bridge girls basketball wins at Villa Duchesne

The Rock Bridge girls basketball team defeated Villa Duchesne 41-37 Monday night in St. Louis.

The Bruins (18-5) overcame a 24-12 halftime deficit, outscoring the Saints (11-11) by 16 points in the second half.

Lindsey Cunningham led the Bruins in scoring for the second straight game with 11 points. Carmen Boessen also scored 11. Beth Nogalski led the Saints with 18 points.

The Bruins have one game remaining in the regular season, a Thursday night match-up against Helias Catholic. Then they begin district tournament play on Feb 23 in Jefferson City, where they will be the No. 1 seed.
