Columbia College women's basketball team defeats Hannibal-LaGrange

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College women's basketball team won its 12th straight with a 88-63 victory Tuesday night at Hannibal-LaGrange.
Ashley Fisher and Denise Rosario led the Cougars (21-5, 12-0 in the AMC) with 18 points and five rebounds apiece. Heather English had 13 points, Janita Session scored 10, and Julie Teeple just missed a double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds.
Columbia College, No. 17 in the NAIA, forced 24 turnovers in the contest and held a 36-29 rebounding advantage over the Trojans (5-21, 3-9).
The Cougars will play Missouri Baptist at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Arena of Southwell Complex.
