Missouri hosts vocational rehab workshops

JEFFERSON CITY — State education officials are hosting five public hearings across Missouri over the next month to seek resident comments on services for adults with disabilities.
The hearings will be led by Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation, the state agency that handles job training programs for people with disabilities.
Public meetings are scheduled Feb. 23 in Cape Girardeau; March 1 in Jefferson City; March 7 in Florissant; March 14 in Springfield; and March 16 in Independence.
The state is also accepting written comments on its vocational rehabilitation services through March 31. Information is available by calling 573-751-3251.
