COLUMBIA — Candidates for the two open seats on Columbia City Council this April are expected to attend a forum at noon Friday sponsored by the Boone County Muleskinners.

The forum is set to take place in the lower level of Stamper Commons at Stephens College, located on the southeast corner of Broadway and College Avenue.

"All candidates have confirmed and are expected to attend, except we haven’t heard back from Mr. Foster, although he has been invited,” Mahree Skala, a Muleskinners officer, said of First Ward candidate Darrell Foster

The Muleskinners will ask the candidates questions, but anyone in attendance is welcome to pose questions as well, Skala said.

The Boone County Muleskinners is a Democrat organization that meets weekly.
