Missouri men's basketball defeats Baylor behind Bowers

COLUMBIA — The Missouri men's basketball team defeated the Baylor Bears 77-59 Wednesday night at Mizzou Arena. With the win, Missouri improves to 22-6 overall and 8-5 in Big 12 Conference play.
Junior Laurence Bowers led Missouri with 20 points, while junior Kim Englishscored 16. Baylor forward Quincy Acy led the Bears with 13 points.
Missouri held Baylor guard LaceDarius Dunn — who came into the game 40 points shy of becoming the Big 12's all-time leading scorer — scoreless in the first half.
