COLUMBIA — The Missouri men's and women's swimming and diving teams are both in third place with one day remaining at the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin.

The men's team has 468 points, trailing Texas with 727 points and Texas A&M at 554 points.

The women's team has won two titles and has 433.5 points, behind Texas A&M with 635 points and Texas with 628 points.

On Saturday, Missouri sophomore Dominique Bouchard won the Big 12 title in the 200-meter backstroke.

Her winning time of 1 minute, 52.02 seconds set a Big 12 Conference record and beat the record she set earlier this year.

Her win follows Friday's win by freshman Loren Figueroa in the women's 1-meter dive.

Figueroa's 335.15 points won her the event and set a Big 12 Conference and meet record.

The Big 12 Championships concludes Sunday with the women's platform finals at 5 p.m. and the swimming events at 6 p.m.
