SHOW ME THE RECORDS: NCAA Division I Manual

Monday, March 14, 2011 | 12:01 a.m. CDT

You can learn a lot about your community, state and country. Open records help people keep government in check and help them better understand how government affects their lives.

For a complete list of Show Me the Records, go to ColumbiaMissourian.com/records.

The records: The 2010-2011 NCAA Division I Manual

Why you’d want them: Reports of schools violating NCAA rules and regulations seem to pop up often these days. The NCAA Division I Manual has the entire list of regulations that coaches, athletes, and teams are expected to adhere to. The manual is home to the body’s constitution, operating bylaws and administrative bylaws.

Where you get the records: Go to www.ncaapublications.com/p-4180-2010-2011-ncaa-division-i-manual.aspx, then click on the link that says "Download PDF."

How much it will cost: The information is free.
