Missouri baseball team wins first game of doubleheader

COLUMBIA — The Missouri baseball team scored five runs in the eighth inning to beat Le Moyne 7-4 in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader at Taylor Stadium.

After Le Moyne (3-10) scored two runs in the top of the eighth to take a 4-2 lead, the Tigers (5-9) came back with six hits in the bottom of the inning.

Jonah Schmidt had two hits and three RBI to lead Missouri. Conner Mach had an RBI, a run and four stolen bases.

The game was the second in a four-game series with the Dolphins. Le Moyne won the first game 6-5 on Friday.
