MU gymnasts place second at Ohio State

The Missouri gymnastics team placed second in a three-way meet Saturday at Ohio State, scoring 193.325 to beat Pittsburgh (191.625), but falling to the host Buckeyes (196.100).

Tigers junior Mary Burke won vault (9.825), tied for second on balance beam (9.875) and earned second in the all-around competition at 38.700.

Sandra Ostad and Lauren Swankoski tied for second on vault at 9.775, with Swankoski going on to place fourth in the all-around at 38.475.
