COLUMBIA — A Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

The victim, who was not injured, told police that a man confronted him around 2 a.m. in the 1100 block of Paquin Street, demanded money and threatened him with a black handgun, Columbia police reported.

The robber, described by the victim as a 5-foot-10-inch man in his mid-20s, took the victim’s wallet and ran from the area, according to the report. He was clean-shaven and was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

No suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made in the case.
