Cedar Ridge Elementary School is a part of Columbia Public Schools. Built in 1978, the school was initially referred to as either North School or New Haven North. In 1987, the school was given its current name.

When it first opened, Cedar Ridge Elementary had only five classrooms and a multipurpose room. Additions have been made to accommodate more students. The Cedar Ridge mascot is the Cardinal.
