The Hickman boys' baseball team picked up its first win of the season on Wednesday, beating the St. Charles' Pirates 12-3.

The Kewpies (1-0*) relied on strong pitching. Winning pitcher Grant Harper allowed one run on two hits in three innings of play. Jon Sanders also allowed one run on two hits in three innings.
