We need people on the City Council with the know-how to stand up to forces that, if left at liberty, would prefer to devastate the landscape for profit while taxpayers pick up a big portion of the tab. We need someone who can use reason and negotiation to reach a balance between the public good and private gain. This balance is what will truly keep Columbia prosperous.
