COLUMBIA — A deputy with the Boone County Sheriff's Department made four arrests after discovering a methamphetamine lab Friday afternoon said Jessie Williams, sheriff's department corrections officer.

Multiple sheriff's department deputies and members of the Boone County Fire Protection District arrived at 5851 Highway VV to help dispose of chemicals used in methamphetamine production, according to a news release.

Deputies arrested Jennifer Rinehart, 24, Christopher P. Hill, 45, and Robert B. Beabout, 42, each on one count of manufacturing a controlled substance. John D. Hardy, 26, was arrested on one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of resisting arrest, Williams said.

All four were being held at the Boone County Jail. Hardy's bond was set at $9,000. The others' bonds have not yet been set, she said.
