Logan Gray, a 2007 graduate of Rock Bridge High School, where he was a quarterback and a highly touted recruit, has decided to transfer from Georgia to Colorado to play out his senior season of college football.

Gray never earned the starting quarterback job at Georgia but played receiver and returned punts for the Bulldogs. He will earn an undergraduate degree from Georgia in May and pursue a postgraduate degree at Colorado in a program not available at Georgia, according to a report at denverpost.com.

Gray said he had considered transferring to a number of schools, including Div. I-AA Southern Illinois, according to a Q&A with the Atlanta Journal Constitution posted at ajc.com. Gray said in the report that the transfer should be official in about two weeks.
