Rock Bridge girls soccer team wins one of two in Springfield

The Rock Bridge girls soccer team (8-3) split its two games on Saturday at the Kickapoo Tournament in Springfield, Mo.

The Bruins beat Glendale 3-2 before losing to Nixa 3-2 in overtime.

Against Glendale, Rock Bridge junior Kenzie Jacoby scored the Bruins' first goal, followed by junior Carmen Boessen and senior Mary Bowman.

In Rock Bridge's second game, juniors Anna Alioto and Alyssa Fancher scored the Bruins' two goals.

The Rock Bridge girls soccer team will host Quincy Notre Dame at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
