COLUMBIA – Police were searching on Monday for four suspects after a robbery of the Phillips 66 Petro Mart at 2102 W. Ash St.

Four males entered the gas station at 3:01 a.m. Monday, police spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said. One of the suspects had a handgun.

"Two suspects gathered the two female employees behind the cash register," Stroer said.

The suspects obtained cash from the register, and one male struck both females on the back of their heads. Neither employee sought medical help, Stroer said.

All four suspects wore masks and hooded sweatshirts drawn tightly across their faces, she said.
