COLUMBIA — Democrat Nicole Galloway will be sworn in as Boone County treasurer Friday after being appointed by Gov. Jay Nixon on April 13.

The ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. at the Roger B. Wilson Boone County Government Center, 801 E. Walnut St.

Galloway, 28, is a Columbia accountant who worked as a corporate auditor for Shelter Insurance Company.
