Missouri baseball team wins series opener at Baylor

The Missouri baseball team won the opening game of a three-game series against Baylor on Thursday in Waco, Texas.
The 4-2 win puts the Tigers at 15-22 overall and 3-9 in the Big 12 Conference. It was the Tigers' first conference road victory.
Sophomore Brennon Champagne had two RBIs. Junior Conner Mach and sophomore Eric Garcia claimed the other two. Sophomore Blake Brown was 2-for-4 at the plate with a stolen base and a double.
The win was the second for senior Brad Buehler, who pitched two innings and allowed one earned run.
The second game of the series is set for 3 p.m. Friday at Baylor Ballpark.
