The Missouri men's golf team had its best outing at the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship since 2005.
Fueled by a final-round score of 295, the Tigers finished fifth Wednesday at Whispering Pines in Trinity, Texas. Missouri placed third in 2005.
Stuart Ballingall led the Tigers, finishing in a tie for fourth place. It is the best individual finish for a Missouri golfer since Colby Robertson finished fourth in 1998.
