Missouri wins Border Showdown Series with Kansas

For the fifth straight year, Missouri clinched its all-sports showdown with rival Kansas when the men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Big 12 Championships ahead of the Jayhawks.

The finish pushed Missouri into an insurmountable 23-14 lead. With two regular-season points remaining available, Missouri clinched the M&I Bank MU-KU Border Showdown Series for the seventh time in the nine-year history of the competition.

April 29th must have been a VERY slow day for news. If one listens carefully he or she can hear the yawns all the way from the Kansas City, Rolla and St. Louis campuses.
