Rolla slips past Hickman baseball team in seventh

COLUMBIA — The Hickman baseball team lost 3-2 to Rolla on Monday* at Hickman.

Tyler Wall and Colby Fitch had RBI singles in the fourth inning to give Hickman a 2-1 lead, and the Kewpies held the one-run advantage until the seventh when Rolla scored two runs on a two-out single.

Grant Harper pitched 6 2/3 innings, striking out seven and letting up one earned run on just four hits.

Hickman falls to 8-10 with the loss.
