UPDATE: Police arrest man on suspicion of aggravated stalking

Friday, May 6, 2011 | 6:17 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Columbia police arrested a man on suspicion of aggravated stalking after a felony warrant was issued for his arrest.

Keith Brodie, 32, was arrested in Pulaski County late Thursday night.

In addition to the warrant for his arrest, there was a cash-only bond in the amount of $100,000, said Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Latisha Stroer.

Stroer said Brodie is said to have sent threatening e-mails and text messages, including death threats, to his ex-girlfriend, and her father and brother.

The department did not believe Brodie was armed, but Stroer said he has been violent in the past.
